There are a number of ways the ZoneRipper may be connected into your home network. For best results we recommend connecting directly to your broadband router (or Ethernet switch) as shown below:

An alternative configuration would be to connect the ZoneRipper directly to the Ethernet switch in the rear of the Sonos ZonePlayer. We recommend this configuration only for wired Sonos zones.
